Introduction:
Multicultural Life Scholarship Recipients are required to participate in this leadership programming called the Scholarship Peer Resource. These scholarships include but are not limited to ASIA -PanAsian, Bonnie Wallace-American Indian, HOLA – Latinx, Anita Gray Hawthorn – PanAfrikan, LGBTQIA+ and Scholastic Connections.
This pilot program was initiated in 2021 by Multicultural Life to connect students with each other interim post pandemic. MLife has noticed a gap in the needs of student leaders and representation in the Oyate Commons and has a high need to elevate students to truly reclaim their education and remove as many barriers as possible. In order to meet their educational priorities, MLife believes that students are the extra hands that will need to uplift each other with the professional MLife staff through programming. 
 
Objective:
Connect MLife Scholarship Recipients together throughout the academic year.
Empower your peers to step out of their comfort.
Be intentional about the things you are choosing to do to better your educational experience. 
Create a strong network and support system inside and outside of Augsburg University.
 
Requirements: 
Must be a MLife Scholarship Recipient.
Maintain a 2.0 or higher per semester.
Enrollment at Augsburg University the current academic year.
Attend large group meetings per semester
