Indigenous Plants and Medicines

Guest Speaker: Linda (Black Elk) Bishop, Ethnobotanist

Linda is a consultation and works with the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe in documenting the traditional plants. She advises about soil health and garden design. She is experience in making and using herbal products including salves, balms, tinctures, teas, infused oils, elixirs, syrups, and more! She knows the use of traditional plants in treating opioid or alcohol addiction and withdrawal symptoms.
