First-Generation College Celebration Week (11/9-11/13)
November 9 @ 2:00 pm - November 17 @ 9:00 am CST

First-Generation College Celebration Week is a nationwide observance held annually around November 8 to honor the signing of the Higher Education Act of 1965. The week serves to raise visibility, foster community, and celebrate the resilience and contributions of students who are the first in their families to pursue a four-year college degree.
Augsburg will celebrate first-generation students, faculty and staff the week of November 9-13. These events are free and open to everyone in the Augsburg community to attend.
