Christensen Symposium: Suffering and Hope in the Midst of Conflict

Speakers: Dr. Hamdy El-Sawaf, University of Minnesota and Family Counseling Center psychotherapist, and Bishop Munib Younan, retired Bishop of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jordan and the Holy Land and past President of the Lutheran World Federation

Dr. El-Sawaf and Bishop Younan will share personal experiences and their religious faith perspectives as a Muslim and a Christian on hope, reconciliation, and resiliency in the midst of suffering and struggles that often are intensified by religious convictions and differences.
