Trauma has wide-ranging impacts on the ways that students show up on campus and in the classroom—and on how we as faculty endeavor to support their learning. This workshop will dig into some of the complexities involved in responding to student disclosures of trauma and offer both a guiding framework for trauma-informed pedagogy as well as practical strategies and language to support our work with students.
