We will still be announcing the nominees and recipients for Outstanding Staff, The Newcomer Award, and Outstanding Department or Group in early April.

Staff Senate will award five Outstanding Staff awards and one Newcomer award.  President Pribbenow, with the support of his leadership team, will also present an award to an outstanding department or group.

You can nominate a staff member to receive an award at the event! 

• Nominations will be accepted now through March 6th. 
• Staff, faculty, and students are welcome to submit materials.
• All materials are due no later than 5 p.m. on March 5th.

As we have in years past, Staff Senate encourages attendees to bring donations for Campus Cupboard, Augsburg’s student food shelf. Campus Cupboard is currently looking for donations of the following items:
Food donations: Microwaveable meals, healthy snack foods, trail mix, granola bars, peanut butter and other nut butters, canned beans, canned chicken and tuna, canned fruit, dried fruit, sandwich bread, cereal, ramen, baking supplies (flour, sugar, etc.), pasta sauce, etc.
Toiletry donations: Shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, deodorant, pads and tampons, lotion, sunscreen, nail clippers, etc.

You can also donate any time by bringing items to the Campus Cupboard, now located in the basement of Science Hall, Room 8.
