Canceled – Queering Career: Hennepin County Crime Lab

Join LGBTQIA+ Student Services, TriBeta, & Strommen Center for Queering Career. This site visit, we will be traveling to the Hennepin County Crime Lab.
Within Hennepin County, the laboratory provides forensic services to over 35 local law enforcement agencies, the Minnesota State Patrol, and several federal law enforcement agencies. The laboratory is staffed by licensed peace officers and civilians serving in the following specialized areas:
- DNA
- Crime Scene Investigation
- Evidence
- Latent Print (Fingerprints)
- Firearm Examination
The HCSO Forensic Science Laboratory is one of only six (6) public accredited forensic science laboratories in the State of Minnesota (the others are the MN BCA Laboratories located in St. Paul and Bemidji, the Minneapolis Crime Laboratory, the St. Paul Police Crime Laboratory, and the Midwest Regional Forensic Laboratory).
Queering Career Series works to promote and visibilize local, queer-owned businesses and employees.
