For Native American Heritage Month, American Indian Student Services is sponsoring an Indigenous Book club where we will read A History of Kindness by Linda Hogan. Poems from Linda Hogan explore new and old ways of experiencing the vagaries of the body and existing in harmony with earth’s living beings. Throughout this clear-eyed collection, Hogan tenderly excavates how history instructs the present, and envisions a future alive with hope for a healthy and sustainable world that now wavers between loss and survival. 

We will meet on Monday, Nov. 7th from 5pm-7pm to discuss the book and have dinner. RSVP is limited to 20 people. Students, staff, and faculty are welcome to participate. You will receive the book after you RSVP. Please direct any questions to aiss@augsburg.edu.
