Welcome to Hmong Women Together’s book club! We will have a special guest who has significantly impacted literature about the Hmong community: Kao Kalia Yang! Her novel: The Song Poet, is a memoir of Kao Kalia’s father which tells the story of Hmong culture, both joy and tragedy. If you have not read the novel, don’t stress! Feel free to stop by as books, food, and drinks will be provided at this event and we encourage everyone to be there!
