House of Waters will be visiting “Music and Identity in the Americas.” House of Waters is “a trio that makes those words come alive as they incorporate elements of West-African, jazz, psychedelic, indie rock, classical and world music into their astonishingly unique sound.” Their innovative fusion combines hammered dulcimer, bass, and drums. They have graciously offered to present an educational program before their performance at the Cedar Cultural Center’s Global Roots Festival that night.
