Neurodiversity in Green Spaces
April 22, 2022 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm CDT
People with disabilities are disproportionately affected by climate change but are often underrepresented within the climate movement. While drawing from her own experiences with neurodiversity in private, educational, nonprofit, and movement spaces, Noelle Cirisan from MN350, will share what disabled individuals bring to the environmental spaces, and how the Disabled Community and environmental groups can work together to make inclusive spaces that advocate for a truly equitable environmental movement.
Location: Marshall Room, Christensen Center
Contact: Nyasa Henderson Meany, EAC Senator & Environmental Stewardship Coordinator (hender20@augsburg.edu)
