On Saturday, October 5, Mr. Fuad El-Hibri and Mrs. Nancy El-Hibri will be on campus to meet with students, faculty, staff and Regents. Fuad will be making a special presentation and sharing personal insights and reflections about achievement through the lens of science, business, and religion. Please join your fellow students to hear from one of the most successful business leaders in the country today.

Fuad founded a bio-medical company called Emergent BioSolutions, which holds government contracts for resolving a number of public health threats. In 2001, the El-Hibris started The El-Hibri Foundation (EHF). EHF is a philanthropic organization that empowers and equips Muslim leaders and their allies to build thriving, inclusive communities. EHF makes grants and implements innovative programs to provide resources and skills, forge collaborative relationships, and increase inclusion of and within American Muslim communities. Its mission is to “support building an inclusive America by advancing peace and respect for diversity, inspired by the universally shared values of Islam.” Fuad and Nancy’s son, Karim who attended Augsburg 2007-2009 and graduated from the StepUP program, is a board member of their foundation.
