The Pre-Med Student Association invites the Augsburg community to join us in giving back through a Food Drive supporting local homeless shelters in the Augsburg area. As future healthcare professionals, it is essential to cultivate empathy, compassion, and community awareness—values that lie at the heart of good patient care. This event is an opportunity to put those values into practice by helping provide food resources to those in need.
We will be collecting non-perishable canned and dried food items at our tabling event in Christensen Center. For every 10 cans donated, participants will receive 1 hour of volunteering credit. Each donor will also receive a certificate of appreciation recognizing their contribution.
The food drive will take place over three days:
Monday, October 27 | 12:00–1:00 PM
Wednesday, October 29 | 12:00–1:00 PM
Thursday, October 30 | 12:00–1:00 PM
Your donations will make a tangible difference in the lives of individuals and families experiencing food insecurity. Together, we can strengthen our sense of empathy and community while working toward a healthier and more caring society.
