Join AISA and ASAC on our showing of Smoke Signals for Native American Heritage Week! To engage students from Indigenous backgrounds, as well as non-Indigenous students in the community to gather and watch a classic film about Natives. We will laugh and bring in the community to join us as the film talks about the reality of reservation life and Native reality in our urban lives. During this time we are going building bonds and making connections with Indigenous students and showcasing an American Indian made film. It will also educate and expose non-natives to the sense of humor that the majority of Natives have to cope with generational trauma.
