The Oromo Fake Wedding Night is a collaborative cultural event hosted by the Augsburg Oromo Student Union (AOSU) and the University of Minnesota Oromo Student Union (OSU). This event celebrates the rich traditions of the Oromo people, featuring performances, traditional songs, and authentic Oromo cuisine. A highlight of the evening will be the representation of various regions within Oromia, with each “bride” and “groomsman” showcasing the cultural attire, dances, and unique heritage of their respective region. This event aims to foster cross-cultural appreciation, create meaningful connections, and provide attendees with an engaging opportunity to learn about and experience the vibrant Oromo culture
