Annual! Perennial!

November 14 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm CST

TICKETS

When Harvest rolls around, the farmer-performers of the ________ Family Farm wheel out their homemade pageant wagon and recount the mysterious myths and local lore of their farm-ilial dramas to an audience of paying customers. Each Autumn, they alternate between telling the regular version of these stories, or the magical version. They know which one they’re due for this year, and they can hardly wait.

Everyone in the farmily has a job to do, and a story to tell.

Even the ghosts.

In this ensemble-devised work, co-created by directors Jay Eisenberg and Madeleine Rowe, students will create original characters and self-scripted material within the strange world of this very particular fictional family farm. Drawing on clown, physical comedy, folklore, and oral histories, ANNUAL/PERENNIAL is a brand new theatrical work exploring magic, tradition, and the highs and lows of what happens when your family is your job and your job is your world.
