Welcome to one of Hmong Women Together’s biggest events of the year: Hmong New Year! At our event, we aspire to introduce Augsburg students to the significance of the Hmong New Year and allow them to find joy in the celebration. This special occasion holds great value as it brings families together to cherish precious moments and is dedicated to seeking fortune, prosperity, and good health. We emphasize the importance of hope and positivity, reassuring our guests that unfavorable times can be overcome. By offering traditional drinks, food, and activities, Hmong Women Together strive to enhance the member’s experience that reflects the spirit of Hmong New Year. Our event will have performances from fellow Augsburg students, to local professional artists, and a fashion show! Doors open at 3:00pm and performances start at 4:00pm.
