DESCRIPTION:Join us for our second stop on our Church Tour!We’ll be visiting Substance Church (Northtown Campus) which is a 25 min distance from Augsburg. We will gather in the Foss Atrium at 10:30am to catch a 10:46am bus to Substance. This week\, we will experience the “mega-church” style of worship. Substance Church is led by Pr. Peter Haas. It is one of two campuses in the area. Being a large worshiping community\, they value small group ministry. It is their hope that “church doesn’t start until the service is over…”They have traditional doctrine with a contemporary worship style\, including a praise band. The community started by Pastor Peter and other church leaders began as a vision to engage students on college campuses.
