It is a 4-credit program\, and students choose ONE of the following courses: \n\nCCS 495: Human Rights Voices in Post-Conflict Guatemala\, fufills CCS major and minor elective \nSPA 495: Human Rights Voices in Post-Conflict Guatemala (must have completed SPA 311 or 312)\, fulfills SPA major and minor elective\nPOL 459: Topics: Human Rights Voices in Post-Conflict Guatemala\, fulfills POL or IR major or minor elective\nThis program also fulfills the Augsburg Experience requirement.\n\nStop by to grab your morning coffee and learn more about study abroad!  \nHelp lessen the environmental impact of your coffee by bringing your own mug or tumbler!

DESCRIPTION:Decorating will be taking place Sunday\, September 22 from 6:00-10:00pm. Student organizations taking part will check into the Christensen Center Lobby at 6pm.\n \nThere are 6 categories\, each of which have a top $1\,000 prize. There will also be a Grand Champion who will win an extra $500. \n \nThe categories include:\n  \nMost 150th/Retro Themed \n  \ni.e.\, Celebrates Augsburg’s past or future \n  \nMost Auggie Pride \n  \ni.e.\, Shows your pride in Augsburg \n  \nMost Representative of the Student Organization \n  \ni.e.\, Demonstrates the mission and purpose of your student organization \n  \nMost Interactive \n  \ni.e.\, Has features that bystanders can interact with (e.g.\, things to read\, musical elements\, etc.) \n  \nMost Sustainable/Environmentally-Friendly \n  \ni.e.\, Calls attention to environmental awareness and/or uses environmentally-friendly decorations \n  \nMost Tied to Augsburg’s Mission \n  \ni.e.\, Incorporates elements of thoughtful stewards\, critical thinkers\, responsible leaders\, and informed citizens into display \n \nThe rules are: \nStudent organizations may compete in one or multiple categories. You will not let Campus Life know which category you are competing in; instead\, be sure that it is clear from your display on which category or categories you are focusing.\nStudent organizations may partner together on a single display and split prize money if they win.\nStudents cannot decorate before 6:00pm or after 10:00 pm.\nOnly students can decorate. Staff\, faculty\, and community members may watch and cheer\, but they cannot help.\nStudents may prepare supplies and bring their own supplies. Campus Life will also have extra supplies (e.g.\, glue\, markers\, construction paper\, scissors\, ceiling magnets\, gaffers tape\, etc.) to hand out to all organizations.\nYou cannot use any paint on the walls\, windows\, or doors (including spray paint or washable paint).\nYou can only use the tape that Campus Life provides.\nYou can only adhere items to the ceilings using the magnets that Campus Life provides.\nStudent organizations must be present at the Taste of Augsburg on Saturday\, September 28 from 11am – 1:30pm to win.  \nHosted by:\nAdditional Information can be found at: https://augsburg.campuslabs.com/engage/event/4912369
