SUMMARY:Macbeth Performance
DESCRIPTION:Shakespeare frequently reminds viewers not to misuse power–there will be consequences. In Shakespeare’s Macbeth\, political ambitions arise in the Scottish soldier after he receives a prophecy of power from three eerie witches–he will be a nobleman and then he will be King! Working with his wife\, Macbeth kills the King and takes power–only to be caught in a web of shame and guilt that requires him to continue to murder to keep his position. Eventually both Macbeth and Lady Macbeth descent into insanity\, prompting a civil war that leads to their own demise. There are consequences when one misuses power!

DESCRIPTION:Performances of the Augsburg Theater Department’s production of “Iphigenia and Other Daughters” by Ellen McLaughlin\, directed by Barbra Berlovitz\, will be taking place on November 18th at 8pm\, November 19th at 7pm\, and November 20th at 7pm. \nWe will not be selling any tickets at the door\, so make sure to reserve your seats now! The Augsburg Theater Department is requiring patrons to be fully vaccinated in order to come to a performance. Additionally\, all guests will be required to provide a photo ID at the box office before receiving their ticket. We will also not be allowing any late seating\, please make sure to arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the performance. \nThank you and we hope you enjoy the performance!

DESCRIPTION:Waiting in Vain is a story about four young and Black teens who rob a gas station and hide out in an abandoned store blocks away. As they devise a plan to escape home unscathed\, they are stricken with agonizing panic\, detachment\, and nightmares\, as the media finds evidence pointing closer to their location preventing them from returning back into their esteemed lives.
