During April’s Earth Month\, the ShareShop is accepting donations of gently-used items! These items will be redistributed back to students in the fall or donated to the Sisterhood Boutique. As you move out of your dorm or do some spring cleaning\, drop off your donations to a student leader at Science Hall 8 or place them in a green cart near your residence hall. DESCRIPTION:Come join AISA and the Augsburg community as we have a ceremonial blessing for our AISA medicine garden plot. This blessing is protocol before we transplant any plant medicines into the Earth. Ojibwe elder\, Noodinesiikwe (Hope Flanagan) will be leading us in prayer. We will also have the Little Earth singers offer songs\, and jingle dress dancers offering dances. Anishinaabe people use the jingle dress for the healing medicine that it brings. There will be traditional teachings about plant medicines\, our relationship to the plant beings\, teachings about the drum\, and jingle dress teachings. All are welcomed and encouraged to join us!
