DESCRIPTION:Please join us for an evening showing of the brand new Twin Cities Public Television documentary Paradox: Echoes of Reform & the Minneapolis Police (https://www.tpt.org/paradox-echoes-reform-minneapolis-police/)\, hosted by Augsburg’s own Michael Lansing and featuring Daniel Bergin\, filmmaker\, Twin Cities Public Television executive producer\, and historian. The film–a compelling blend of deep research\, candid interviews\, and rare archival footage–explores the history of police reform in Minneapolis.  It illustrates how mayoral politics\, community activism\, and police union pushback shaped the city’s trajectory as well as what is at stake for the future of public safety.\nSelections from the documentary shown\, with Bergin and Lansing available for conversation during and after the showing. The Augsburg community is invited to come see what we’ve got growing on\, enjoy the tropical atmosphere\, and marvel at hundreds of plant species from all over the world. \nThe greenhouse is open to the Augsburg campus community on the first Friday of every month during the semester\, from noon to 3pm. The greenhouse is located on the 4th floor of the Hagfors Center.
