SUMMARY:Resume Review: Make Your Resume an Interview Magnet!
DESCRIPTION:Schedule 20-minutes out of your day to have volunteers critique your resume! Trust us\, it is a good idea. \nResume Round-Up Review will be held on September 26th in the Strommen Career & Internship Center. You must register on Handshake to schedule your time slot! \nhttps://augsburg.joinhandshake.com/interview_schedules/117536 \nWhy Do I Need A Résumé? \nAs you get started working on your résumé\, you may (quite naturally) be wondering: “Why do I have to write a résumé in the first place? What’s its purpose?” \nOne very practical answer is that employers expect you to have one; you can’t really\, not have one! Résumés (and cover letters) are an ingrained\, commonplace aspect of the world of work. \nBut the real purpose behind your résumé is to help you quickly explain your skills and competencies\, qualifications\, and fit for a particular position. It serves as your formal introduction\, and as a marketing tool for landing an interview. So what are you waiting for? \nSchedule your resume critique today! If your schedule does not allow you to attend our resume event\, check out the Strommen Center website and learn when our resume drop-in hours are.
