SUMMARY:Social Change Dialogue Series: Community Voices
DESCRIPTION:Join the Sabo Center and Trio McNair as we host a series of virtual events centered on social change. In each event we will be shining light on different aspects of social change and civic engagement. In this first discussion we will highlight community voices by inviting a panel of guest speakers who will share about their work and activism in the Twin Cities. In this event you will hear from organizers and leaders doing work around community safety and advocacy for over-policed communities\, leaders working for climate justice and advocates for underrepresented voices.  \n \nThose who need any disability-related accommodation to fully participate in this event are encouraged to contact University Events at events@augsburg.edu or 612-330-1104. Remember to have the name\, date\, and time of the event with you when contacting their office. Please allow for sufficient time to arrange the accommodation.\nHosted by: Sabo Center for Democracy & Citizenship\nOnline Location: https://augsburg.zoom.us/j/96446418913?pwd=NFBQOGdyN1BPaGtrc3QyZG1YNi9TQT09\nAdditional Information can be found at: https://augsburg.campuslabs.com/engage/event/6697368
