Drawing on her experience as a community organizer\, she will talk about “Understanding Environmental Justice: What Do Race and Class Have to Do with It?” This year’s Torstenson Lecture is held in conjunction with the celebration of the Sociology Department’s 75th Anniversary and the Urban Studies Program’s 50th Anniversary.
