DESCRIPTION:2nd Annual Concussion Awareness Game for Augsburg Women’s Hockey. The Headway Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization\, aiming to promote a safer sports culture\, provide resources for patients\, and enhance concussion evaluation protocols and accessibility. They are athletes working together to combat concussions and whiplash injuries. The neuron and charm bracelets given to every player signifies they will: Aid – support individuals undergoing recovery\, Awareness – promotes a safe sports culture surrounding concussions\, and Advocacy – Advocates for improved evaluation and treatment of concussions. \nDue to the MIAC not allowing spectators we are doing a virtual zoom to cheer them on!
